Uw advocaat kan u vertegenwoordigen, uw verdediging voeren en u nadien verslag uitbrengen.<\/p>\n<h2>Wanneer is vertegenwoordiging voldoende?<\/h2>\n<p>Bij de gebruikelijke inbreuken \u2014 snelheid, alcohol, rijden zonder verzekering of zonder geldig rijbewijs \u2014 volstaat vertegenwoordiging doorgaans. Dat bespaart u een verlofdag en de verplaatsing naar Brussel, Halle, Vilvoorde, Leuven of Aalst.<\/p>\n<h2>Wanneer komt u beter zelf?<\/h2>\n<p>Bij zware feiten, bij een ongeval met gewonden, bij recidive of wanneer de rechter u persoonlijk wil horen. Uw aanwezigheid kan dan gunstig wegen: ze toont dat u de zaak ernstig neemt. Wij bespreken dat vooraf met u.<\/p>\n<h2>Wat als u zonder meer wegblijft?<\/h2>\n<p>Dan wordt u bij verstek veroordeeld, zonder dat uw kant van het verhaal is gehoord.
