What constitutes dangerous driving?
Examples: overtaking in dangerous places, driving too close behind someone, slaloming, dangerously overtaking on the right, or structurally violating traffic rules in a way that endangers other road users.
What penalties do you risk?
Dangerous driving is punishable by a fine (x8), a driving ban, and possibly reinstatement examinations. In serious cases or resulting in a traffic accident, the penalties can be much more severe.
